Well, if I have to say a "Band" - then it's Magma. Does anyone know the genre "Zeuhl"? It would be cool if someone did. Magma is Zeuhl.

edit: This is pretty much a good explanation of Zeuhl:
"The genre is a mixture of musical genres like Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Modernism and Fusion. Common elements: oppressive or discipline-conveying feel, marching themes, throbbing bass, an ethereal piano or Rhodes piano, and brass instruments." (progarchives.com (http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive-rock.asp#29))

I've loved Tool for quite a few years, there was a time when I'd listen to no other band because they couldn't compare, lol. Now I'm a little tired of it, I wish they'd release another album.

At the moment I don't know.

Wouldn't it be funny to combine those two? You'd have one big huge band that sucks.

(if there'd be a band who named themselves Red Baron, but then in Bosnian, they'd be my favourite band..)

In a few years it's probably Belle and Sebastian, currently I still have to pick Pearl Jam. Especially because they covered the Who, the Beatles, pink floyd, otis redding, etc etc. And not to forget they did a a song with Neil Young.

I don't think I could name ONE band. I mean, I enjoy different stuff more in different moods... If I had to name one band in the "you're being deserted in xyz place and you can only take abc bands music" style... Probably... Skinny Puppy.

But then I'd feel bad for not saying Bathory. :(

OMG...hehehe...such an easy hint as well.

I like FNM....but I prefer Mike Pattons band Mr. Bungle over FNM....but it depends on the mood and if you have been bombarded with John Zorn music for hours.

Are we talking Mike patton as in the ex-singer of dillinger escape plan? I heard he's in a band where he does crazy opera-like vocals, is that faith no more?
