Well when it happens for me to being down i listen to some tecno, not anything in special but it has to be a bit progressive and not to agressive and i usually play it really loud ^-^ . I know im not down when i start to dance, when that happens i probably forgot whatever was making me feel down ;) .

I listen to rock too, but jazz first. I actually picked up string bass this past week and hope for electric bass in the future.
