great movie, i think it really fits in as the first of the series.

Its kinda of a tragedy in a way, but it was predicted. Afterall, the bond personally gotta come from somewhere.

unlike MI, 007 is a great series from great to end :wub:

This movie is the Batman Begins of the 007 series. If you don't like it, you don't like change... it's obviously a well made movie.

Double Post: Of course for those of you commenting the plot.... yes it has very predictable plot twists like many of the other Bond movies. Really though, would it be a 007 movie without them?

Saw it at the local premiere on Thursday and the cinema was surprisingly empty when I went in. I loved the film, can't wait for Bond 22.

i love how they roll with the obvious time differences (this being the beginning of Bond yet he drives a DB5), but also have sly references to it - like when he gets the aston martin
