What do you guys think? Is it Finally Subspace 2?

I just tried out a zone that was almost exactly like trench wars. Except instead in the base you are protecting a Reactor. The objective of the offensive line is to destroy the reactor.

What is also neat is that the Banners are on the wings of the ships. So far pretty kick ass let me know what you guys think about it.

I tried it out. Not worth it all.

First of all I had to run install twice because it froze part of the way through it the first time. Then I go to sign up and the link it gives you from the client to register a name doesn't have ".html" at the end of it (which took me 5 minutes to realize) so the page didn't load.

Then once I got it installed and ran it I had to download the patch for it through the client which also froze part way through so I had to restart the client and re-download it. Then I finally get to the game interface to log in and it takes 40 seconds to connect to the server. Once connected I had to choose a character or whatever so I did, then it starts to download "characters" so I wait 3 minutes and close the damn thing and try again.

This time I log on and it takes about 60 seconds to connect to the server but the characters seem to have downloaded already so I select one and enter the actual zone, select one of the arenas (total of like 4 people online). Get into the arena and pick a ship only to see that my framerate is totally fucked so I can't play it anyway.

Yes, except the guy running it is planning to eventually try and make a profit from it. On top of that he's deliberately trying to market his game to subspace players (see subspace.net). If he would have taken continuum and recreated it making it open source to himself and a select few to add upgrades he would have gotten much further with it. It's a nice effort and it shows his dedication that he would quit his day job to do it, but it was poor planning overall. Continuum still has plenty of game play left to it, if someone were to take the current game and add some more features to it to allow zone creators to be more creative that would be much more effective than what he's done with galatic melee. I can think of tons of improvements on continuum that wouldn't require a total overhaul, but would also make many opportunities for some creative thinking.
