  • Miyazaki and anime

Miyazaki's movies are wonderful. At least that is what I think.
So far I have seen Spirited Away, Howl's moving castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Mononoke-hime/Princess Mononoke, Porco Rosso and some others...
So I was wondering if you have any suggestions of anime movies that are good?
And I'm not talking about Naruto or something like that now...

    Thanks!

Check out Miyazaki's My Neighbour Totoro, which is a classic and a beautiful, awesome movie.
Then I could suggest something with a fake quote:
1:RednaZ> definitely check out everything from Shinkai Makoto because he is a god and if you check them out I will love you forever.

So check his work out. 5cm per second is a rare find but definitely one of the best animated work ever (even tho I've only seen 1 and a half out of the 3 episodes). His other movies are also amazing.
Regency> not in for dd lol
Regency> would rather eat some cock ;<

                Forgive what?

Anyway, my personal Shinkai Makoto best film: Beyond the Clouds (Kumo no mukou)
Also there is this short film, really impressive, Pale Cocoon.

Ow ow ow, and Satoshi Kon's movies are great too. Epi mentioned his last, Paprika, others Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers.

i watched these films in this order with a good period of time in between

                          spirited away

                          Howl's moving castle

                          mononoke-hime/princess mononoke

anyway i really liked spirited away, thought it was great so when holws moving castle came around i went to see it in the cinema, i thought it wasn't that good ... then a friend lent me the princess mononoke dvd and it was better but not up there with spirited away.

ghost in the shell has turned into one of my favourite films but again i went to see ghost in the shell 2 in the cinema and it was free !! and i still felt let down by it compared to the first
