best free video editing software?

a friend and me want to make these funny episodes on youtube so we need the best video editing software...

not trying to spend any money

ideas are all over the place and since youtube can get pretty popular, il also throw in a subspace commercial a few times lol who knows lil effort might go a long way...

either way, any suggestions?

Sony Vegas is easy to use, you just have to torrent it.

Avid. Not easy to use, definitely not beginner-friendly, but the best video edit program hands down. Fuck premiere and final cut.

but i manage around anything so it shouldnt be that hard...

apple imovie.

it's easy and professional. I'm no fan of Apple, but they rock the shit in video/photo editing capabilities.
