    WEEK 1
    WEEK 2
    WEEK 3
    WEEK 4

    TWDT-B

    MATCH OF THE WEEK:

    Blooms vs. Patouf
    15:00-14:53

This was the most exciting game of the week, as the last two undefeated basing juggernauts faced off, going into the match 3-0 apiece.

Stayon (103-75) led Sprained (101-63), nanto (94-54), Bueno (93-41), and Rasaq/Siaxis (90-61) in spider, behind an immaculate terring performance from Trasher (56-5, 4 Teks), with porkjet (2.8 RPD) and olde (2.9 RPD) in shark, as the Tabarcats managed a 14:53-12:30 lead, looking all but certain to claim victory.

Fate, would have it, had other ideas, as LF (2.9 RPD) juped the flag before dying and Blooms losing the flagroom, and gave his sharking partner M_M God (2.9 RPD) and his terr menelvagor (50-9, 3 Teks) a second chance to break cram, which they managed to do just as the flag unjuped, as Medal Dodger (102-67), Mean Gene (100-47), turban (91-64), bellflowers, gurliver and freakmonger-tw managed to hold for two minutes and claim the narrow victory, pushing themselves to a likely undefeated regular season with all the major basing squads defeated.

HOT: Trasher, with a sizzling 56-5 and 4 teks, what a performance!
NOT: The Flag, for costing Patouf a well-earned win!

Wait a minute... where have I seen that flag before... *cue Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil*

By god... it's affected every major event in human history!

    Power vs. WIN OR DIE
    15:00-10:59

This was a well fought match, as last week's BASER OF THE WEEK ph (34 kills, 3.0 RPD) continued to be the most dominant offensive force in sharking alongside TWLB champion Zidane (2.8 RPD) covering for him, ahead of bot MVP Ogron (49-5, 2 Teks) as the Powergonians carved out a 4 minute victory.

Spidering for Power were Henry Saari, leading all spiders with 102-41, ahead of 6-Star superstar KATC (89-46, 2 Teks), hulk (83-60), with undering from Rough (68-55) and Wazzaa.NL (50-38).

For WIN OR DIE, DOWNFALL (2.9 RPD) and markmrw (2.8 RPD) sharked ahead of Cintra (29-8, 2 Teks), with dreamwin (91-53) leading Rageritual (80-63), TheWadoRooster (76-56), skatarius (72-53), and Cyclone (55-41), as the Winordites played well this Sunday. Racka's team has a lot of basing talent, managing to rack up a lot of time, but has kept falling just short in recent weeks.

HOT: ph, with another massive 34 kills, 1 tek, all while managing a perfect 3.0 RPD. Wowza!
HOT: KATC, with an impressive 89-46 and 2 teks as a value 6-Star spider!
NOT: Cintra (29-8) who played alright, but didn't have his best game.

The three teams starting 8+ stars at terr every game (ill (Mikkiz), WIN OR DIE (Cintra), and Power (Ogron)) need outstanding performances or the extra spider power other teams have costs you too much, as bargain terrs (Blooms (Mango./maketso), Patouf (Heaven), Thunder (Shadowmere/Hydride)) can all play solid enough to cut corners and not spend stars at the position. It's a gamble, but one that has paid off thus far in the regular season.

Buyer beware, however, as no team using a low-star terr has won TWDT-B in 5 seasons!

    ill vs Silence
    15:00-14:35

Another fantastic basing match, where ill finally broke through, as the winner of 3 of the last 4 TWDT-Bs Mikkiz (28-6, 3 Teks) outlasted the enemy ahead of rodney (3.0 RPD) and Kosmonaut (2.7 RPD) in shark, with bot MVP Sphinx (110-42, 2 Teks) leading wbm (110-69, 2 Teks), Jatt (108-53), TJ Hazuki (80-62), and stung (79-62) to the much-needed W in spider.

For the Silencers, Bacon (113-69, 3 Teks) proved himself a stellar bargain at 7-Star, leading all spiders in kills, alongside Oder (101-67), Mikes (92-56), Boblemoche (84-70), and Dazz (76-59). mcvicar (3.0 RPD) and Commodo (3.0 RPD) formed a huge wall that gave the team a chance to win, but narrowly lost by 30 seconds with surprise terring decision Lasenza (53-9, 2 Teks) putting up impressive numbers in his debut.

    What a game!

HOT: wbm and sphinx, with 110 kills apiece on the winning side.
HOT: Bacon (113-69, 3 Teks) with a great low-star performance for Silence.

It's hard to pick NOTs in 15-14 basing games, with seemingly strong outings on both sides, so let's just say Cres, for not signing up. Like vaccinations, TWDT prevents you from contracting diseases, like pasconitis, which turns you into a huge pussy crying from spec without ever actually playing.

Potential side effects of TWDT include: Assigning star-values to people in real life, starting to believe Heaven and TheWadoRooster are incredible players, Hot or Not withdrawal, and being drafted by TJ Hazuki.

    Thunder vs. Meteorite
    15:00-7:56

The only mediocre basing match of the week, Thunder comfortably rolled over the Meteorites, as Hydride (35-2, 3 Teks) made his debut, terring well ahead of TABARNAK!!! (2.9 RPD) and Beasty (2.8 RPD), with JAMAL (118-60, 2 Teks) leading all spiders, ahead of Ricko (90-36), Undercut (85-40), Ardour (73-45), and Shadowmere (59-84).

For Meteorite, aprix (106-51) continues to be an invaluable asset, leading Shock Therapy (90-81), Turtle Power (79-49), Cloth (63-56), and Asmodeus (46-60), spidering for Wax (38-10) in terr and Geio and Mythril in shark.

    HOT: JAMAL (118-60)
NOT: Shadowmere (59-84), with an incredible -25 in a 15-7 win -- yikes! I haven't seen someone in green hit -25 since Mr. Freeze shoved his icepick into Poison Ivy's hot box.

    TWDT-D

    Patouf vs. Blooms
    50-46

In a fiercely fought match, the basing behemoths precluded their 15:00-14:53 TWDT-B Match of the Week with a stunner in warbird, as 9 of the 10 players in this match were knocked out, with only TWBC legend siaxis (12-6) left standing, who like Littlefinger, would see the world burn if he could be King of the ashes.

The Tabarcats also saw strong performances from Rasaq (14-10) who's put up 30 kills over the last two weeks, alongside Tiny (11-10), Zazerick (7-10), Tarnish (5-7) and olde (1-3).

For Bloomingdales, they maxed out their charge card, as solid outings from Keith (13-10) and Medal Dodger (12-10) were spurned by sub-par play from Paky Dude (7-10) and Gurliver (8-10), and a subterranean game from Turban (1-6), who was subbed out ignominiously for maketso (4-4).

HOT: Siaxis (12-6), the last man standing!
NOT: Turban (1-6), who finally finds himself on Dexter's table. I've been waiting a long time to finally do this to you Turban...

Bam. Suck on that you Finnish turd. You're free to go.

    Power vs. ill
    50-47

Another tight TWDT-D match, as Power slid past the Weezers, as Emperor of the sea Okyo (20-9) scythed a path across the battlefield, leading Rough (11-9), Wazzaaa.NL (11-9), Rab (5-10), and Zidane (3-10) to victory.

Skepsis (13-10) did his best to slow the tide, but you can't stop Poseidokyo, as a string of solid performances from Rodney (10-10), stung (10-10), ROWS (8-10), and Tripin (6-10) proved not enough.

    HOT: okyo, with a tsunami-like 20-9; Gadzooks!
NOT: Zidane, with an abhorrent 3-10 in a win. The only 3:10 you should be taking is the bus the fuck outta WBville.

    Thunder vs. Meteorite
    50-40

It was going to take something special to stop the formidable duo of Geio and Mythril, who had been tearing it up all season in warbird for the Meteorites, and Thunder found the answer in 7-Star Shadow-no-mere-mortal, who scorched Meteorite with a blistering 21-9!!!

Yes, Shadowmere is MVP. STOP MESSAGING ME.

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named led JAMAL (10-6), beam (8-8), Lena (6-10), and Ease (5-7), as the quintet limited Geio (5-10) and Mythril (12-10) to 17 kills, with aprix (9-10), Space Tropper (8-10), little buddhist (6-7), and Jessup (0-3) all negging.

HOT: JAMAL! Just kidding. Shadowmere (21-9).
NOT: Geio. After two MVPs and a Player of the Week award, Geio disappointed against the undefeated juggernaut that is Thunder in TWDT-D, amassing a paltry 5-10. I haven't seen someone go from HOT to NOT this fast since Milli Vanilli.

    Silence vs. WIN OR DIE
    50-24

WIN OR DIE continued to struggle without its captain at the helm, going a brutal 0-3 this week, leaving many to wonder:

And leading many others to wonder, why am I reading this instead of Where's Waldo? -- those books are awesome! Why, indeed.

The Silencers took full advantage, and I doubt it would have made a difference anyway, as they stomped the Winordites by a whopping 50-24! Best (18-8) had his best game of the season, with Raazi (11-6), bad game (8-2), and Bacon (5-8) in tow, and Lasenza capping it off with the first ace of the season in TWDT-D, notching a 7-0.

On the not-so-winning-side, WIN OR DIE saw Kira_Yamato~ put in a spirited 14-10, outkilling the entire rest of his or her team, as DOWNFALL (6-9), Markmrw (0-10), RageRitual (2-10), Mean Gene (0-1) and skatarius (2-10) combined for 10 kills. 3/5th of a person would be too generous a label for the four of you.

    HOT: Best (18-8)
    HOT: Kira (14-10)
NOT: Warbird pilots Markmrw (0-10), RageRitual (2-10), skatarius (2-10) went for a combined 4-30. Like NBC's mid-season pilots, you should all be canceled.

      TWDT-J

      Power vs. ill
      50-41

ill put up a good fight against the only undefeated team in TWDT-J, as the 4-0 three-headed monster continued its run unabated, with Zidane (13-9) leading 7-Star hero fram (13-10), Rough (11-8), Children (10-7), and 5-Star zero Lee (2-7) to another victory.

For TJ's Weezers, infrared (10-10) made his TWDT debut this season after being acquired in free agency, leading ill but failing to find adequate support from Paradise (7-10), Rodney (7-10), cyrus (5-10), Skepsis (2-6), or Lorko (5-4), who had a nice sub in.

HOT: Zidane (13-9), who channeled his (z)id and powered his squad to victory.
NOT: Skepsis (2-6), with a score so low it could win a limbo contest.

      Thunder vs. Silence
      50-43

Ease (11-7) and JAMAL (12-9) led Shadowmere (8-10), Ardour (6-7), and Lena (6-10) to a tough win over the Silencers, as impressive efforts from Best (13-10) and Lasenza (10-10), and Commodo (6-7) were marred by Boblemoche (6-10), Kim (4-10), and Singer (1-3) falling below parity.

This was the tighest javing match of the week, as Commodo's team proved they can compete in every league, but have been falling just short with poor showrates from their players. Let's hope more people show and Silence can make a strong playoff push in the final 3 weeks.

      HOT: Ease (11-7)
      HOT: Best (13-10)
      NOT: Kim (4-10)

      Patouf vs. Meteorite
      50-40

Stayon (13-10) led all javelins ahead of Trasher (10-3), Tiny (10-9), Siaxis (7-4), Banks (4-10), and Zazerick (2-4), as the Tabarcats improved to 2-1 this week, jumping up from 6th place to 4th, with WIN OR DIE floundering.

For Meteorite, the Zizzo-less team saw good play from Geio (12-10), aprix (10-10), and Shock Therapy (9-10), but terrible performances from Wax (3-10) and Space Trooper (3-10).

      HOT: Trasher (10-3)
NOT: Wax (3-10). Given Wax and Trasher's scores, this looked like less of a jav match and more like Trading Places.

      Blooms vs. WIN OR DIE
      50-42

dreamwin (12-10) made his season debut for WIN OR DIE this week, leading competent but unspectacular showings from skatarius (9-10), Kira (8-10) and Cross (8-10), and a less-than-spectacular showing from markmrw (2-10).

On the winning side, it was a balanced team effort that let the Bloomers win by 8, as Mean Gene (14-9), Spawnisen (12-7), maketso (10-6), frightful (8-10) and Morg (2-6) took home the W.

      HOT: Mean Gene (14-9)
      HOT: Spawnisen (12-7)

        HOT OF THE WEEK

WBs of the Week: Shadowmere (21-9) and okyo (20-9), as Shadow led Thunder to their fourth straight victory, whilst okyo carried the worst team in TWDT-D to an upset over ill.
Jav of the Week: Zidane (13-9), leading his squad to a perfect 4-0 with a sizzling performance in jav.
Baser of the Week: Trasher (56-5, 4 teks), standing on his head in what was in truth a win in a ham-fisted 15:00-14:53 thriller as the best two teams duked it out!

        Player of the Week: Best
Best absolutely destroyed WIN OR DIE with a monstrous 18-8 in warbird, then followed it up with another game-high 13-10 against Ease and Shadowmere in javelin, giving top-tier TWDT-J squad Thunder a run for their money. Kudos!

For clarification purposes on the blooms/patouf game it was 14:43 - 12:15 when menel (terr) died in tube. Game was over but for whatever reason siaxis and bueno just let me waltz right past them into mid and into FR with no energy and only 1 rep. So I put one mine in entrance so I couldn't be followed and another 3 on flag forcing trasher to use his 75th port of the game back into FR. I'm assuming the rest of the team thought the game was over because nobody attached but nanto who proceeded to full speed ram my mines instead of waiting for a shark to attach, so if you want to assign a NOT it should be him for juping the flag when they had almost 3 minutes to just wait for any shark with a single rep to attach to win. My personal HOT is MM god. I thought we were doomed as a sharking duo since he doesn't really shark and I havent played in 8 months before yesterday. I wasn't worried about olde but I figured porksword would dismantle us but we held our own. I was only covering for a2m who should be back next week so I have no reason to log in again but it was a fun game. Go team make and go team tj!

Also for the record on the Blooms-Patouf game.
Freakmonger lagged out before LF took flag, and i subbed in, so i had also a minor effort in defending the fort for 2 minutes
Not that it mathered though, since im newb in that ^^

So, the Ill/Silence match was a great match. We were down 13-7 at one point until I made some changes because of lagouts and came back down to win. Was a great team effort.

I love the trading places reference with the ships as heads hahah.

Once again, well done. Maybe this week I'll manage to get myself into the HOT rather than the NOT.
