How do I do this? I want to share my 56k connection with the another computer. They are both on LAN.

    (computer with 56k)------(other computer)

see? I drew a picture. They both are running Windows 2000 Pro. I need help... =D I am a networking newbie. I barely set up the LAN...I did it myself. lol.

Well in WinXP there this internet connection sharing wizzard that lets you do it. But I don't know if that exists in Win2K Pro.
If not you need additional software, I recommend WinRoute Pro.
It's not freeware but, well...you'll get around that
Requires a few settings to be changed to the program and to both computers.

The connection where the 56k modem is in your local area network, can be shared.
Rightclick on it and select properties and somewhere there should be an option called Internet Connection Sharing
      just check it, done.
