-TWD idea: Squad informed when assistants have challenged-

Just a mini idea that i would like to see happen. It would make sense if a squad pm occurred when an assistant or cap makes a challenge to another squad or topteams. This way people on the squad can clearly see you're trying to get a match started without having to reassure them all the time: "yes i've challenged". Also people can see who you're challenging and they may not like to vs a particular squad (that an assistant has challenged) and they could ask to remove the challenge.

Also people can react if a bad assist has sent a chall when there isnt enough!

I don't think it would be hard to code in, it will be just relaying the challenge message back but as a squad pm.

Easy change that seems beneficial. Should be in on next TWD reboot.

The bot should no longer PM the challenger, else they might be spammed a bit.

Yeah but then you have 4 different assistants on 1 squad challenging the same squad for a match (causes alot of green for the squad being challenged). How about you tell pressure to chill out with the greens or ignore pressure- because i think that's the problem right there.

Tbh i think this is pretty useful for the reasons mentioned in my first post and quite a few agree. You'd have to be pretty strange to get pissed off by being informed your squad has sent out a chall?

you're explaining a problem that should be easily solvable by issuing a "cooldown" feature to prevent spam. the bot can see if your squad has challenged another squad and prevents from repeating this for 2 minutes or whatever. yes, it is extra work for the developer(s) but seeing as this has been proposed before (when there were wayyy more developers active) i'm just gonna throw it out anyway.

A different solution to this whole nonsense would be for the bot to just put a team-freq message in the arena using the " (so people with ?nopubchat can still see it) when someone is challenging. eg;

(pm)MatchBot> You have challd bla bla
MatchBot> "Rage has issued a challenge to bla bla

There really is no need to pm people afking in a #private arena just idling and hearing multiple beeps (we already beep alot when counting anyway) while watching a movie/porn etc. though I do appreciate the effort Qan is putting in. I really do.

An assistant can just notify team members in chat that they have challed if people are not in the arena anyway
