  • Nifty Windows tricks

Anyone have any nifty windows "tricks" they want to share?

You know what I meant.. here's two things I found out recently which are both useful and cool.

Firstly, in XP, when a dialogue appears, click on it and then press control + C, this will copy what it shows.

    i.e.:
    ---------------------------
    WordPad
    ---------------------------
    Save changes to Document?
    ---------------------------
    Yes No Cancel
    ---------------------------

Secondly, (most people probably know this) XP opens .zip files as if they were a folder. All this time on my PC at home (which uses XP) I've been using WinZip...

Share your little known "tricks" in Windows (not just XP).
