xbox live anyone? halo3 etc

hey all, i've been behind the times due to money and I just picked up a 360 the other day. halo is my fav console FPS so of course im playing that a lot atm. problem 1, I am using a buddies live account so i cant play ranked. problem 2, i dont want to spend $ on live account right away, the system was $$ enough, problem 3, the "free trials" I got with games don't wanna work.

so I am wondering, who here is playing halo 3 on live lately? i have 2 friends on my list )= you can reply here or send me a private message if you wanna friend up.

also, does anyone have some free trial cards that they dont plan on using? I need some more 25 char codes to test out!

Haven't had time to try out call of Duty 4, rented it but never played it. I'll give it a try soon though once I'm done with finals.

I'm really into gears of war and I like halo 3 as well, but I'm lucky if I play halo 3 an hour a week now. If someone else on here plays gears of war let me know.

If you wanna play online and get certain items from the Marketplace, you need Gold. Silver is just for basic communication, buddy lists, demos, etc.
