ya, we would get this reaction if sertifi or pub died as well
(Steadman)>they went out drinking... ogron siaxis and siaxis gf
(Steadman)>apparently ogron is EXTREMELY morbidly obese and ridiculously sweaty
(Steadman)>and he spend the entire night being awkward and staring at siaxis gf
(Steadman)>and after that they did not meet up again...

Well it's not like facebook notifies you when somebody dies. And if you don't have mutual friends with the person, you won't be able to see that other people are writing things on their wall like "RIP." The only way you would find out is if you happen to stumble upon their page through a search and you see that their wall is full of things alluding to the fact that they're dead.

Pretty much FB told me to 'reconnect with Joe' so I clicked on his name...

Wow, this is truly saddening. I got to know Joe early on in my SS life, and he had been nothing but great. He gave me lots of pointers on the javelin, and we shared many great talks on the old -legacy- chat, it's difficult to grasp the idea that such a down-to-earth individual is gone. Although he may have passed on, his spirit will live on forever.

Thanks for letting us know Epi.

Epi, please tell me theres a chance you may not be 100% sure about this. If this is true, this is just a total tragedy. Guy was so young and had so much energy. Had his whole life in front of him and for this to happen is just, well, horrible news.

He was a very good friend of mine in -Final- and we had a lot of fun on chat. This has just ruined my night... this fking blows. :crying:

                      Definitely bums out my day.

He went to Saline High School in Michigan (about 15 minutes from my own high school) and is about my age, my school actually competed against him in track. Went through the trouble of looking up some of his records and he ran a 55.4 in the 400m, pretty respectable. I even got 10 mutual friends with him on facebook. Damn......it's so weird to see real life and subspace mix together.

It sucks that the cause of his death was a girl choosing to drive drunk (going wrong way on 127, major highway in Michigan). Regardless, he was a great guy and I hope all the best for his family and friends.

                      RIP Joe.

According to the posts on his FB wall, seems like she was sentenced to a few years.

I love you my friend and weep at your feet, please know I understand why you would be upset since Joe was a great friend of ours and an amazing person who truly valued how others felt over himself. I do not think ruining ones life to justify the loss of another is the answer, although it seems to be how most of the global consciousness seems to flow toward. Not excusing what she did but there is a reason for everything and why people make mistakes, if only all beings focused on the cause of things rather than how to punish an action. I do think people should be punished of course, but we must love the person who did this as much as we love that which it happened too in order to grow.

Sorry for my poor explanation, I would go into further detail but I've noticed things such as that are rarely read or peoples witty comments on their pillar of mock and nods rise up to conquer in togetherness.

I love you Joe, and you all.
