        "Sick"

The life of times of Bob Flannigan, the super masochist who spends his life struggling with cystic fibrosis.

        pretty interesting, very demented.

"American Movie" is fucking hilarious. Its about a amateur filmmaker in Wisconsin (i think...its been a while).

both of those are available to stream on netflix

                    RIP- A remix manifesto

hands down my favorite documentary ever (and i've still studied to become a doc filmmaker).

about copyrights, media, and girl talk

can't go wrong with girl talk!

they filmed one here called 'Haynesville', it's about the largest natural gas deposit in america, and i'm typing this out right on top of it. it follows three people from around here and their experiences with the sudden wealth.

in wake of recent events, this film makes a good case for privitization of resources. one of the people the documentary follows formed a bargaining collective (if you take alot of people who have maybe a few acres each and et together, you can then bargain with hundreds of acres' worth of mineral rights) and managed to secure the most comprehensive environmental protection clauses in america. and she's a dumb fuckin' hick.

I found this one about nazi scientists, nazi wonderwaffen and a weird compass to be quite interesting
