    Paladin wins this game!
    MVP: RaCka!
It’s hard to believe that not long ago, in a galaxy far far away, Paladin was a total disaster that was as grim as when Anakin Skywalker killed the younglings at the Jedi temple.

Jessup had intentions of resigning from her captain position and calling it quits for the remaining DT season. Fast forward a few weeks to the present and Jessup’s Paladin is now a strong contender to take the crown in the most competitive league in DT with a solid 6-2, tied for 1st place with Power holding a playoff picture. This game vs. Terrorist was a blowout, not the least surprising as Terrorist has slim to nothing to offer for any competition in warbird, allowing the likes of Racka, Lasenza and Vys to pulverize them into a quick submission.

HOT: Rolling with Kira on this one, just because I know he prefers another, lesser ship that shall not be named here. Was a great performance from him this game going 11-3. Worth mentioning Myollnir put up solid work this match with his ace of 9-0.

NOT HOT: Klick and World. Both of them need to play in pub more often and maybe do a !turtorial while they’re at it to figure out the key bindings for ship 1 among other things, like running to yellow dots and shooting the blue ones.

Had Alf’s leader Delectable played this game, I think we’d seen a closer match, big emphasis on “closer” here but I am sure he had his reasons for sitting it out. Major Crisis and Rab seemed to have one goal this game, to pad Ricko’s k/d ratio and I got to admit they did a phemonal job at doing just that.

Maito_Chi not surprisingly only fostered 6 kills while poor Reaver broke his back trying to carry the team with a very nice 11-10 in vain despite all efforts, falling victim to the relentless force from Power. I will note Okyo going negative this game left some scratching their head, on his defense he did have network issues pre-match so it could have been related to it, who knows, unfortunate though many of us were really hoping to see him dominate this round.

HOT: Ricko. He denied Alf any chance of winning, like that one time he denied Okyo from joining Cobra. Good. Shit.

NOT HOT: Okyo. Definitely could of put up more all things considered.

    Brexit wins this game!

    MVP: temujin!

This was a very close game despite what the numbers say, it was coming down to the wire and Brexit barely scraped by starting DT’s week 4 with a win from the highly stacked basing crew of Baratheon. Ogron’s squad is underrated in warbird and so I am not sure if people who play them don’t take them seriously or what, but Baratheon has won some tough games and never goes down easily it seems. Regardless, Brexit’s Ease, Iron Survivor and Temujin stepped it up and made sure they weren’t losing to Baratheon. Attacks got ran over fairly early in though he proved quite helpful in spec from what I heard, offering cords while enjoying a some much deserved crumpets 'n tea.

Overall this was a great game and was a slugfest until the end.

HOT: Ogron 14-10. Got to hand it to the guy, he did well this game and was fun to watch. Temujin was right behind Ogron and deserves a shout out here as well for his performance.

NOT HOT: Attacks. Tea time while important to many British, should never take precedent over a DT match and I guess the worst part of this, he didn’t share any with me.

    Paladin wins this game!

Alf put in a solid lineup vs. Paladin to no avail. Delectable actually showed for this game physically and mentally putting up an impressive 11 kills vs. Paladin. Other’s like Mythril, Not U (the player) and Jones, showed up but were clearly not in the zone this game. Reaver gets a pass here because he was clearly fatigued from the match prior vs. Power and struggled to find his rhythm when he was subbed in. Paladin’s Kira on the other hand towered above Alf, like an embodiment of his homeland icon, Godzilla, leaving nothing but carnage and devastation in his wake.

Lasenza had another lackluster performance, while Vys and Racka rolled on Alf as you would expect with no issue while at times, stopping mid-game to complement each other’s kill shots or laugh at Racka making poop related comment. All in all, Alf got smashed here, leaving me to wonder if Delectable will try a different approach/lineup this weekend for week 5.

HOT: Kira_Yamato~ 16-10. This guy is becoming one of my favorite players this season and if the last 2 weeks show anything, we can expect more this upcoming weekend.

NOT HOT: Jones 2-6. While he may claim to be more jav oriented these days, I think many of us are miffed at his horrid performance considering he was a LD/DT-D champion years past.

    Baratheon wins this game!
    MVP: Kentaro!
Baratheon came out the door swinging this game and Terrorist could do little to prevent the onslaught of Ogron and Kentaro.

Terrorist’s Dreamwin and Zizzo did their best to keep the match alive, though ultimately the nail in the coffin was from the botched performances from skyforger, ra and tiger the crab. I will say this was probably Terrorist’s best warbird lineup, unfortunately it was also Baratheon’s, which lead to their demise. Best (the player) showing up is enough to break a squad’s morale, let alone letting him play. This match was a one sided blowout, giving Baratheon an easy win for week 4 in DT-D.

Hot: Ogron and Kentaro are tied for this game as they both put up great numbers and seemed in a league of their own vs. Terrorist, which they were..

Not Hot: Tough call here but Skyforger gets it. He is one of if not the best warbird on Terrorist and seemed lost this match.

    Brexit wins this game!
    MVP: Attacks!

This game was the game of the weekend and showed everyone that Brexit is definitely a strong contender for the DT-D championship and is still too early to be ruled out. Both Power and Brexit had great lineups and both teams were playing hard. Power had a strong opening that slipped away into the hands of Attacks, Iron Survivor and Ease. Okyo was relentless but could not make up for the poor performance from Weak and Ricko. Zidane kept face and chose not to sub his struggling players which I think hurt them here in this game as it was clear early on several players were not in the zone. Attacks, pumped up on tea and crumpets was on rampage. Iron Survivor and Ease helped Attacks seal the deal with their predictable yet stellar gameplay, giving Brexit the victory they desperately needed to stay alive for a shot at the playoffs. For biggest upsets this weekend in DT-D, this was it. In theory Power should of won this, albeit closely, I think a mixture of fatigue and surprise hindered them for pulling out a “W” here but at the end of the day made for an exciting match that we will soon not forget. Well maybe we would if Attacks would let us, he is riding high off this victory and rightfully so.

Ixador’s Hot Squad: Brexit. (Paladin is also up there, just who they played depicted my ultimate decision here.)

Ixador’s Not Hot Squad: Power. Hate to put my own squad on the “Not Hot” but we struggled this weekend and aren’t looking as good as we did the start of the season.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to week 4 and can’t wait to see you all back next weekend for week 5! Have a wonderful rest of your week! Goodbye.

Great write up Ixador. Nice to see one on time this week. Well written and pretty funny analysis too.. especially loved the gifs and attacks tea and crumpets power up comment lol. The Godzilla gif relating to Kira I died over hahahah. Looks like DD/Warbird is turning into a serious competitive matchup this season with outcomes in playoffs able to go any way this year. Next week the battle for the final position in the #4 spot is going to be huge between Baratheon and Alf. Both are possible dark horses who could make some major upsets happen. Paladin is ready for this challenge and we await eagerly. :ship1::ship1::ship1::ship1::ship1:

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, had some big shoes to fill taking over for Okyo, your encouragement has helped my transition though and is appreciated. Also big shout out to Ogron for his help in rectifying my mistakes when posting this HoN, saved me some serious headache and frustration. See ya guys Sunday for an exciting week 5. Good luck! Bye.

Goodbye.
